Your order is complete. Let’s build your book.
Thanks for your order. Now it’s time to gather what we need to make your coloring book. Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Tell Us the Story
For our Legacy and Story bundles, write a short history of your loved one — 200 words or less. Give us the basics: names, birth years, key places they lived. Pick three big moments from their life. We’ll turn this into an opening page for the book.
Step 2: Upload Your Photos
Now upload your photos. Use your highest-resolution originals — the sharper the photo, the better the line art turns out.
- People: Send clear portraits. We’ll turn each one into a clean line drawing of the face.
- Places: Send photos of childhood homes or other meaningful spots. We’ll keep the background and details in these.
- Things: Send photos of objects that matter — a car, a wedding ring, anything with a story attached.
Step 3: Write a Caption for Each Photo
Under each photo, write a short caption — 10 words or less. We’ll print these in large, bold text so they’re easy to read.
A Note on Photo Quality
We do everything by hand, and we do it carefully. But we can’t add detail that isn’t in the original photo. If you upload a blurry picture, the line art will be blurry too. Send us your sharpest, highest-resolution photo for the best result.
What Happens After You Upload
We don’t run your photos through an automated filter and call it done. A real person reviews every image, by hand, to make sure your loved one still looks like themselves. This takes 3 to 5 days. If a photo is too blurry to work with, we’ll email you at studio@lineagelines.com with a link to send a clearer one.
